The N24 serves an important role in enhancing regional accessibility not just between the cities of Limerick and Waterford, but also to and from several key settlements within Tipperary, including Cahir. As such the ongoing consideration and development of transportation solutions, as well as the final design and planning of the N24 Waterford to Cahir Project should be supported by the policies and objectives of the Cahir Local Area Plan, once adopted.
